We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper on Sunday during our 2pm worship service.
While united in our celebration of this gracious gift of God to us, we will join together to pray:
“Almighty God, you are the creator and Lord of all things. You are the Sovereign Majesty whom we have offended. You are our most loving and merciful Father, who has given us your son to reconcile us to Yourself: who has ratified the New Covenant with his most precious blood; and has instituted this holy sacrament to be celebrated in remembrance of him till His coming.
We do not presume to come to this your table, merciful Lord, trusting in our own righteousness, but in your abundant and great mercy. Grant us, therefore, gracious Lord, so to eat the flesh of your dear Son Jesus Christ and to drink His blood, that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his body, and our souls washed through his most precious blood, so that we may forever dwell in him, and he in us. Sanctify these your creatures of bread and wine, which, according to your institution and command, we set apart for this holy use, that they may be sacramentally the body and blood of the Son Jesus Christ. In whose name we pray, Amen.”
Come, for the table of the Lord has been laid out for you!
