Our congregation continues to hold regular services of preparation in the days leading up to our celebration of the Lord's Supper.
We do this for a host of reasons which we'd love to explain to you in person. Among our reasons for continuing in this time-honoured practice is our appreciation for a time of personal reflection and biblical exhortation to reflect on Christ's death for our sins and the consequence this has in our lives. We also read in 1 Corinthians 11 about the Lord's instructions for us to examine ourselves and to discern well the meaning of the Lord's Supper.
So we set aside time on the Wednesday night before Communion in order to hold a special preparatory service. We encourage you to join us and prepare your hearts to behold Christ and commune with Him by His Spirit in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
