This is a new book of Psalms set for singing in metre. The Psalms have been edited with accuracy to the original Hebrew text as the primary goal, and as a result, certain poetic features, such as rhyming, are not a priority. This is a words only edition, so there are no scores within the body of the book. Musical scores can be found below in the “Tune List” pdf. There are also some 1650 Scottish Psalter versions, lightly edited into modern English scattered throughout the book.
At the back of this book you will also find the Westminster Shorter Catechism. This is to make this book more useful for families as they catechize their children.

Here is a database of tunes you may like to use with this Psalter. Efforts have been made to ensure that all of these tunes are in the public domain. Tunes are grouped by metre and in alphabetical order.
In time, a list of recommended tunes for each Psalm will be compiled.
